At the National Corvette Museum (NCM)
Be sure to visit our CLBG NCM Page and NCM Web Site for general information.
Some clubs come in conjunction with a scheduled delivery of one of their members new Corvette, or the NCM Experience for an older Corvette. They will enjoy their special day at the museum with their closest Corvette buddies.
Ask the Museum about Club Visit packages. This special package includes a guided NCM tour, plant tour, boxed lunch from the Corvette Cafe and special commemorative hard card with lanyard. This package is a good value around $20 or $25 per person.
Arrange for a VIP guided tour of the museum. While on the tour ask, your guide if you can go behind the scenes at our repair and maintenance shop (you never know if you don't ask). Don’t forget that your admission to the museum is good all day long so feel free to go back in.
Purchase a brick for your club and/or club members approximately six weeks before your planned visit, and enjoy a special dedication and unveiling while you are here.
Park your cars together around the circle in front of the main entrance for a photo op.
As you go through the museum there are professional photographers taking your pictures. You can ask them to take group photos.
Any one who has taken delivery of a Corvette at the museum (R8C) can ask at the store and they will take you back to a room to see the R8C merchandise which is only available to participants of this program.
Ask about maps for local road tours. Kentucky has many beautiful “Corvette” roads just waiting for clubs to enjoy.
GM Corvette Assembly Plant
PLEASE NOTE: PLANT TOURS ARE
UNAVAILABLE AND A DATE OF REOPENING HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED.
Plant Tours (if tours are available on your dates) are run by the NCM. There are standard tours, V.I.P. tours and watch your car being built (advanced arrangements needed) tours available. For a group, the standard tour works well for up to 25 people, but make sure you make reservations early to keep everyone in the same group.
